-Football Social
5/3/08, Saturday, 3pm-6pm at field next to ARC
Come meet some people and experience the excitement of playing football.
You are more than welcome to bring your friends.
 
-Iron Chef
5/17/08, Saturday, 11am-3pm at Adobe (rides will be provided)
2 to 3 teams of chefs are going to compete for the title "Iron Chef". You
can sign up for following positions:
Chef, judges(need 3), commentator, or audiences!!!
More details about the rules will be sent by emails later.
 
-Davis TC Retreat
5/24/08, Saturday,9am-4pm on campus (the room is pending)
This is a great chance to learn more about what TzuChing is all about. We
are going to have a series of activities regarding TzuChi's missions.
Come sign up for the event and be more familiar with the officers/members and the club
itself.
 
Please email Kennie Teng if you are interested in any of the social event (even though they are in May, we want to plan early).
Please include your name, email address, contact number, the event(s) you
are interested in, drive needed or can drive, as well as location of
Davis you live (North, South, Central....).

    First General Meeting of Spring Quarter will be this Monday, April 7th at 6pm in the MU Mee room (on the 3rd Floor). We will return to our normal room next week.

    Thank you for all who came out on last night for our tag social.

    For those who don't know, Good News!: New Costco in Woodland! (here's the article). Now anyone who buys food for BD won't have to drive all the way to Vacaville.

    Also added some requirements to visiting the Davis Summer House. Check it out in the events section.

    Elections Positions Information in Detail (from Feb 26th email)

    Upcoming events this week are the usual. We will also have the social event this Friday (which was cancelled from last week). We will be playing tag/hide n' seek in the Social Science Building. Meet up in front of the lecture hall across from the MU at 8pm.
    We also had elections on Monday for three positions. The results are:
        Vice President: Miranda Chan
        Documentation: Tiffany Le
        Treasurer: Tina Wong

    Potential Offccers Wanted!
   
    The remaining three postions are: President, Public Relations, and Social/Culture. So far we have two candidates for President: Connie Bi and Gurmeet Singh. No one has yet announced their candidacy for the latter two positions. We are still looking, if you are interested. If you have a schedule conflict with the March 10th meeting/election, please send me your speech to me, at hkma@ucdavis.edu, so we can present it to the voters. Thank you.

    Welcome to the tempory website. Sorry that we haven't been updating the main website for almost a year since there are some technical difficulties. While we try to figure out how to manage the main website, we'll be posting updates and information here. Some sections are still under construction. Updates: Everything is basically new!
