Breakfast Distribution Instructions/Checklist

Supplies:
Tables (2-3)
Paper lunch bags
Napkins
Trash bags
Trash bins
Latex gloves

Special supplies:
Dishes

Foods:
Standard:
"meats":    10 dozen eggs
bread:      60 dinner rolls
drinks:      2 cases Caprisun (64 juice pouches)
fruit:         60-70 bananas
dairy:        96 slices of cheese

Instructions for cooking eggs (using 2 large pots, approx. 5 quarts to 7 quarts):
1. Fill 3/4 of the pots with water
2. Bring water to a boil
3. Gently roll 1-2 eggs at a time on to the bottom of one pot using a ladle or strainer. 2.5 dozen should fill up one pot. All eggs should still be submerged.
4. Cook for 35 minutes. It is not uncommon for a few eggs to crack or leak. You should discard any eggs with large cracks, since they will exposed to air.
5. Remove eggs using tongs and/or strainer, and place them in the cartons.
6. Add as much water as needed to boil the next batch.
7. Bring to a boil again.
8. Repeat steps 3-5
9. If eggs are boiled after aprroximately 9pm Saturday night, they should still be warm when served during BD. If the eggs are cooked before that, put it in the refridgerator when they have cooled down.
